Coolant recommendation

Hello,

I'm currently running EK Cryofuel clear premixed coolant in my loop and have been doing so for years without any problems, but due to the dumpster fire that happened with EK, I'm unable to source it anymore (nor do I want to).

Looking at the alternatives which are available to me, I was thinking of going with Corsair XL5 clear premix or Aqua computer DP Ultra. Since I'm using EK DuraClear flexible tubes in my build, my main concern is possible yellowing of the tubes. Seeing that XL5 is just a rebrand of Mayhems X1, it should be fine according to Mayhems coolant compatibility guide.

I would appreciate opinions and/or experiences with using these (or any other) coolants with EK's flexible tubing. Note that I'm only interested in premixes. Also down below is a full list of my watercooling components if needed.

EKWB's IP was bought out by LM TK earlier this year and took over operations March 3, 2025 as per this press release. 

 

I'm a hardline water cooler and used to buy the EK-Cryofuel clear concentrate which I can no longer source and now use Corsair Hydro X XL8 premix.

My two rigged have been swapped over from ek fluid to the corsair xl8. Would prolly use alphacools stuff if not.

@Mick Naughty - I have one on XL8, the backup rig and my test bench are using the last of my EK-Cryofuel clear concentrate supply.
