My budget is around 2200 $CAD before tax.

I'm going to be using this system for gaming, I plan on playing mostly really intensive Minecraft modpacks with shaders, fortnite, Valorant, and cs2. I would also like to clip the game while I play.

I have 4 monitors, first is 1440p 165hz, second is 1080p 240hz, other two monitors are 1080p 60hz.

I am upgrading because my current pc is not able to play some of the above games at a good fps with even mid graphics settings.

The parts I currently have picked out are:

CPU: Ryzen 7 7800x3d

motherboard: ASUS B650E max gaming

RAM: 2x32GB corsair vengeance 6400mhz CL32

storage: already have

GPU: ASUS OC prime 9060xt 16gb

case: Lian Li O11 dynamic evo XL

PSU: 850 gold full modular

CPU cooler: be quiet! dark rock 5

just want to know if there are any changes I should make.

I would try to get a slightly better GPU (9070 if you can?)

You can cut budget by getting 32GiB of RAM which should be plenty still.

GPU is hard to upgrade after the fact.

how much better is the 9070 compared to 9060xt ? the price difference is quite heavy

You can make significant budget changes to allow for a faster GPU within your budget.
You are overpaying for the CPU Cooler, The case is VERY expensive.. I would recommend getting 6000Mhz CL30 RAM instead of 6400Mhz for compatability reasons.

What exact PSU are you looking at?  850w Gold means nothing.

Good baseline showing you can get a highish end 1440p setup for your CAD budget...  with room to make tweaks.

Tho I bought the same case in the US for $109 USD, not sure how it's $109 CAD 😞

9600x is the way to go imo, 7800x3d could help with the 1% lows in the competitive games but i've always maintained that if you're good, you're good.

i've got a 9600x+9070xt right now and only really have issues when i turn rt on max in games, other than that it's been great.

You want a AIO, not a air cooler with those fish tank cases (basic physics). Change your RAM to DDR5-6000 CL30 and look for a board with better VRM's than that Asus board in your link.
