m.2 not present

So I've just finished building my new pc but when I try to install an os there is no m.2 SSD found I've tried reseating it and changing the slot it's in but it just keeps saying not present in the bios

Are you able to test the drive in another computer?

What M.2 Slot have you attempted to install your drive in? It is usually recommended to install it in the m2_1 Slot.
