Budget (including currency): $500 usd

Country: United States

Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: Call of Duty, Fortnite, Rocket League, F1, AutoCad

Other details (existing parts lists, whether any peripherals are needed, what you're upgrading from, when you're going to buy, what resolution and refresh rate you want to play at, etc):

Build:

Monitor: Dual-Monitor setup

Acer 1080p 27' 165 hz 1 ms

Samsung Odyssey G5 1440p 180 hz 1 ms

GPU: NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3060 TI

CPU: AMD Ryzen 7 5700x3d

MB: B450M DS3H WIFI-CF

Storage: Samsung SSD 970 Evo Plus 2TB

Ram: Corsair 64 (2x32)gb DDR4 3200

I am mainly worried about COD. I would like to have around 200 fps.

I have narrowed out it down to 4 choices: 9060xt 16 gb - $389.99, Gigabyte 5060ti 16 gb - $469.99, PNG 5070 12 gb - $549.99,  XFX 9070 16gb - $549.99

Should I consider going over budget for the 5070 or 9070 or will the 5060ti or 9060xt give me what I want with my build?

I'm an Nvidia guy. Do with the info what you want... just being honest about it. They all have flaws.

If you are going to stick with that monitor and game at 1080p, I would recommend the 5070. If you plan to upgrade, then the 5060ti is a better option because it has more vram. Both of these cards are roughly available for MSRP, which is great.

Although you are unlikely to run into any vram issues with the games and software you listed. It's really a future consideration. Even games as far back as FarCry 5 (2018ish) can benefit from more vram if you download the texture packs and run at higher resolutions.

The 1080p monitor is currently on the side where I can control discord and other things. The 1440p monitor is the one I use for gaming and the main game I play is Call of Duty.

Forgive me, I am fairly new to the PC world. I know that PCle 5.0 is out now. Will I lose performance if I stay at PCle 3.0? If so, about how much?

First can we start off with a more helpful question?
What exactly are you doing in autocad? AFAIK some tasks benefit more from a stronger GPU or an Nvidia one while others dont so that is a factor that could really determine the outcome

I edit my posts for so if you saw a typo.... no you didn't, you are just crazy

The 5060 Ti is barely 5% faster on average

Unless OP can benefit from an Nvidia card in AutoCAD (task dependent AFAIK) I would go with a 9060 xt as its better value or take a look at some used cards if possible

To help you understand my question a bit better I'll use this analogy to explain how helpfull this answer was (at least for me)

I asked you what you would like to drink and you answered "something fruity" aka not something specific as it could juice, milkshake, a cocktail, soda etc etc as a lot of things have a fruity taste

Could share something more specific like 2D design, 3d design etc etc?

Sorry, we work on 3D designs.

Since it does require 3D I actually do agree with @johnt that Nvidia is a better option

Not necessarily the 100% best value for money but it is the objectively best option

The 5060 Ti then but I would hold out a bit if you can for prices to calm down a bit more

Thank you! In my area the 5060ti is currently going for retail at my local best buy.

Maybe! I don't follow AMD at all, so I couldn't really provide a recommendation for their products. I let the Op know before I gave my opinion.

Shockingly, in the US the 5060ti and the 5070 are available on shelves for retail pricing. It's unreal!!!!!!!!

I actually bought a 5070ti from a local Best Buy recently (off the shelf) but it was not at retail lol It was retail for ASUS, for whatever that is worth, but way over the $749 MSRP. Somehow they believe their cooler is worth a ~50% premium. Not my proudest moment, but I solidly believe my CPU (12700k) will show its age with the 6000 series. The GPU was a good upgrade to prolong my CPU. I paid a huge COVID premium for my parts and I would like them to last 3 to 4 more years.

No no you did no wrong

Listed your biased, gave your opinion and properly showed it as subjective rather than objective

I also presented mine with some graphs and also asked some extra info from OP

Now that's wonderful

Here put lower end cars are over MSRP while Nvidia (at the lowest) for higher end models (5070 and above in tier) is basically at MSRP or over for the same reason your ASUS card was over MSRP
