I recently bought an ASUS TUF gaming B650-E with a Ryzen 7 9800x3d bundle at Microcenter. After building the pc I tried to boot it up but got a black screen. Power is being ran through the system and everything seems to have powered I replugged and reseated everything I went ahead and updated to the latest bios version but nothing has changed.

Does the system have a GPU and did you plug the monitor in the GPU? Your CPU doesn't have onboard video, so you must use a GPU. To get it running and checking everything, a simple GT710 will do, but you won't be gaming on that one for sure.

The processor has an iGPU:

It’s possible that memory training is taking place (black screen). Let it run for a few minutes, then turn the system off and on again.

Yeah, I usually leave it on like that for a long time, and I always go for a smoke while it's on, because watching a black screen is pretty frustrating 😄
