just upgraded my 3060 to a 4070 Super when im playing i kinda get pretty deep drops and i clipped it which you can see in the top right at the fps counter any help?

CPU is Ryzen 7 5800x

PSU 850W 80+ Gold Thermaltake

highest cpu temp when playing is maybe 70c

and i updated drivers thru nivida and it was up to date

Use a tool like MSI Afterburner or Intel PresentMon to monitor GPU usage (and look at GPU busy & CPU busy in PresentMon)

i js downloaded it and ran msi overclocking scan to get the best out of it and will monitor. Is there anything i need to be looking for in particular never used this program at all

As I said, GPU usage. If you notice a drop, that could indicate a CPU limit. Intel PresentMon is probably a bit more thorough here, since it includes GPU and CPU busy. That gives you a better idea which component is limiting your performance.

so my cpu usage is max with some crazy spikes
