What's this?

Sorry if this is a bad category for this. But I was looking at a youtuber I like's setup and I noticed this looks like a XLR interface and was wondering what interface it was (as I'm currently looking into XLR interfaces, even if it's not good for my money just curious what it is too).

hmmm looks like a mini digital mixer, this is something that costs a buttload of cash and i'm pretty sure is sort of useless for both home recording and professional recording...

on the home recording side you have software that can do the same and some are even free probably, you just buy an audio card (like the focusrite scarlett) and use software to do the rest (any DAW like reaper which is free or fruity loops/cubase if you have cash to throw on software)

on the professional recording side you'd buy probably a 20+ channels digital mixer which would be 10000 times better

HOLY MOLY on amazon they're $1000. WAY outside of my budget LMAO but thank you

I don't know anything about audio mixing and music interfaces but MKBHD and team uses the Apollo series from Universal Audio. Jeez most of their stuff are above $1000 as well

But there's also the Volt series
