Question about AIO

In the build I'm currently making I have an AIO and I've heard that placing the fans on the top side of the radiator can yield easier cleaning and because my computer is on the floor I will see the top side anyway.

I'm using the thermalright aqua elite 360 v3 and the fans come preinstalled on the other side. If I can mount them on the other side is it as simple as taking the fans off and screwing them in on the other side instead?

Should be, unless the manufacturer is an arsehole that uses some kind of proprietary mounting system.

Yes, logically it's easier cleaning but you'll be blowing the dust INTO the PC if you use air to clean.  Not sure how you'll wipe the blade physically thru the top of the case as well, may be easy may not.

 

Personally I do it so fans push air, rather than pull like you want.  It's how they're designed to work, if only using one set.

 

Take the side of the case off, use the blower, put side back on.  Done.

No problem switching fans around with that rad. I was running the same unit with fans in push/pull.
