Hi all!

This is not only my first build log on the forums, but also my first endeavour into the watercooling scene. For a while I've wanted to put my system under water, and even though I'm a student I didn't want to make too many sacrifices on the performance or aesthetics of the build. Hence, I bought all the core components for this build as I could afford them (as much as my lowly-paid part time job could allow me to) and then proceeded to purchase the watercooling components much more recently. Even though it was my first attempt at putting any system under water (previously only owned air coolers) I plunged into the scene of acrylic tubing, and so far I'm really happy that I did-yet it has caused quite a few hours of anger and frustration so far!

As of now I'm only going to give you guys some small teasers for the whole build, as I'm currently waiting on the last few items to finish the build off

-Here's a few pictures to give you some idea of the build itself, I'll be posting a few pictures each day until everything is complete so feel free to follow the topic to receive frequent updates from me! :) (Apologies for the lousy quality, please bare with me) Oh, and by the way I'm going to be using Mayhems Ice White Pastel, so it should give some nice contrast with the other features of the build

wow lookin good, i really like it, and btw i have a question, i am kinda goin with the same pump-res combo thing and i heared that primochill fittings (ghost i believe they are called) wont fit perfectly on the res because on one of the ports

ek-ddc-x-res100csqp-4_800.jpg

you have to insert something ( idk what its called but you use it because one port is slightly smaller than the other) so you can use fittings on it, but i heared if you're fittings are deeper than 5 inches they either wont fit or will leak not sure, which primochills are i think. so can you comfirm this :D and sorry if i didn't explain well but ive read too many forums and checked videos which seriously made me unsure about it :P

The primochill ghost fittings do actually fit on that port, its just that the thread on the pump is slightly recessed. Therefore, they provide you with a small extender that you put into that port and then screw the primochill fitting into that. You could technically just use the primochill fitting without the included extender fitting, but it's just incase of any leaks as you mentioned :)

Yes, as the other user mentioned, I purchased the 780 ti waterblock as the screws allign perfectly, and I do not believe there are any actual 780 blocks from EK-well last time I checked.
