Nvidia graphics driver's update

Did Nvidia finally get their graphics drivers stable? Friend is having some issue with GTA online since it's big update  but he is running drivers from last year still because of all the issues. He has a RTX 3080ti

I never had a problem with recent Nvidia drivers on my 2060 Super, but I don't play GTA online so if there's an issue specific to that game, I wouldn't have run across it.

Black screens, texture issues, artifacts, clock speed locking at like 300.

Nvidia drivers have been a shit show. I used to alway update when it became available. Now im not touching a update till its had 6 months to see what damage it cause. I got enough trouble with w11 updates i dont need to chuck another nade at my pc.

There was a period of a few months where the releases were pretty sketchy for 40/50 series owners earlier this year. I stay up to date with this stuff and the issues reported (myself, friends, and the reddit driver threads) are WAY down the last couple months. I'm back to just updating regularly and things have been fine.
