Hello, I am building a new computer and I was having a bit of trouble deciding what to do with my fan and AIO layout in my case. Currently, I have 2x160mm fans in the front, and 1x140mm fan in the back. I am looking to put a 360mm AIO at the top of the computer, but my only problem is I'm not sure which direction i should put my fans for the AIO. I've been told all my life by numerous people that i should keep positive pressure in my build, but setting the AIO to intake would only leave 1 exhaust fan and I'm not sure if that will be nearly enough. Putting the AIO to exhaust would not have positive pressure. I considered putting fans at the bottom of the case, as it allows for that, but I read somewhere that those fans should always be intake to flow with the PSU. Can somebody give any suggestions?

Case: Lian Li Lancool 216

AIO: Cooler Master MasterLiquid 360L Core ARGB

You could always have the rear fan that is currently exhaust, as intake!  It will give fresh air directly to the AIO on top 🙂

It would also give slight positive pressure with the 2x160mm front fans too.

I mean damn.. I got 2x180mm intake at the front, I have 3x140mm intake at the bottom and ONE 140mm exhaust at the rear.. is enough 😄

The warm air will escape from other open spots in the case with positive pressure.

You can also invest in one of these ( Link is just an example )

So you got some dust filtration for the new rear intake fan.

I used two of these in my old case that had no filters when I mounted 2x140mm on the bottom.

Id love to see how this pc looks lmao... I don't think I've ever seen a setup quite like that before

Do they just slot behind the fan with the screws? And do I need to check compatibility with the fans? I'm thinking about changing out the PWM fan to a fan that has a similar look to the front fans.

The PSU is at the top but with its fan off, but I guess some warm air can escape through that and out.

How much positive pressure?  Yes.

I just put mine between the case and the fan and it worked out well.

Some are magnetic, like the ones in the link so they can even go on the outside of the case.  I might not look fancy but who looks back there! 😄

I run mine as exhaust at the top. I have 2x 200x38 intakes, and a 140x28 exhaust.

Whoops, forgot about the little 92x35 I had room for at the bottom.. that is exhaust too.
