Is anyone else getting prioritised X/Twitter posts in their Android Discovery feed?

I often use the feed you get when you swipe left from home to consume news targeted at your interests. Up until today I have almost never been directed to X/Twitter posts or articles, and would request for these to not be suggested in future..

Today I opened the feed and the top 5-6 articles are all links to X as if they have paid for priority listings, and no matter how often I refresh the list, the first 6 or so articles are from X.. I have never used X, and I avoid it like the plague.

I don't get an option on these X articles to "not show content" from the source like I do other articles either.

Even when it was serving me youtube content I was able to ask it to stop presenting videos from youtube, but no such thing for X..

Am i going crazy or is something fishy going on?

Update: while I was writing this, I had to refresh like 8 times before it didn't have X sourced articles to throw at me..
