OBS sound quality issues

Go to solution Solved by WillFromGA,

I'm sorry, I had to go to bed for a test early this morning.

It could be that it is taking in two of the same audio. Change the desktop device to your headphones or the speakers that you hear and try that.

If this is posted in the wrong section of the forum just remove it

Here is the problem,

I am trying to start streaming. My internet speed isnt all that great I know 18 down 1.9 up but I can stream video quality at about 720p no problem. I have a blue yeti microphone and when I record videos to file it has no issues what so ever. Perfect quality for me. However when I stream the quality gets horrible. I have changed all the settings in OBS. I have maxed out the bit rate and lowered it but the audio stays the same. Here is an example of the stream if it will let me post the link

Do you mean the audio on your side or the audio on the stream?

the stream quality

Have you tried raising your bitrate and dropping video quality to test it?

I've only used OBS like.. once in my life so my memory is quite fuzzy, but what audio format are you using and what audio bitrate?

Error: 410

Are you sure you are using the blue snowball as the microphone and not a webcam or something?
