PC Or Handheld?

Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: Minecraft, The Finals, Helldivers 2, etc

I'm getting a summer job this July and want to upgrade from my pretty mediocre gaming laptop.

Would you guys recommend going for a PC, Mini PC or a Handheld?

I have no need for it to be a laptop anymore, as I own a separate laptop now. I just watched the video about the new Xbox Ally and Ally X.

Do you think I should get a PC, a mini PC or a Handheld Like the Ally Series from ROG and if, do I wait for the Xbox Ally, do I get a Steamdeck or wait for possible future Xbox Windows handhelds?

I want to mainly use it as a PC, but I would kinda like to use it on the go. If there aren't any HUGE caveats to using a handheld as my main system, it would be great but if the value of a PC is a lot better, I would still go for a PC, probably.

This IS a pretty subjective question I'm aware but I'm thankful for any input you guys can give. Thanks

Really  comes down to what games you usually play. If you don’t play and don’t plan on playing demanding modern games then handheld is fine option otherwise maybe stick to PC.
