EMAGARD...LABTOP.....

All jokes aside Microsoft's surface pro 2 or 3 is a good choice , if only you plan it for powerpoint use only, it's light weight & powerful & easy to handle & fast compared to traditional labtops, :P Plus it comes with a fully licensed windows & word & powerpoint apps,

Again , only reccomended if you're planning for Light use , dont expect it to run games at highest settings or watch a 4k or high bitrate 1080p movie fluidly. it's also surprisingly secure , handy & lightweight compared to laptops.

I suggest you go for a test run on local stores before confirming a buy & make yourself at ease. or go with an ultrabook from any company under that price range.

Details separate people.

I believe that is a laptop. OP is looking for a labtop.

i agree with @Doopywoopy, that one is good, but has a 1366x768 display. this one has a slightly worse cpu, but it has a 1080p display.
