Been trying to get steam is running since it's public now, but somehow after I've "repaired" it I only get black screen or rather said, no output. I've tried throu igpu and my proper gpu both gave the same result, I can enter bios and stuff after I've formatted the drive and restarted the process I had the same result

If you want to give SteamOS another try: I have installed SteamOS on my machine (all AMD as well) a few days ago and it works flawlessly and with performance as expected so far. The only difference is that I have a 7000 series CPU and GPU (thus one generation older and perhaps more mature drivers) and that I don't use RAID. If I were you I would try to freshly install SteamOS on a single NVMe SSD without any raid and see if that gets you anywhere. Good luck and even more important have fun gaming.

SteamOS is not meant for desktop use

No it's not but apparently it works just fine if you know how to set it up? (I don't lol)

Randomgaminginhd etc are using SteamOS iirc.
