Hello,

Just upgraded my pc after having an old intel processor and i’m kind of baffled by these temps. I know the 7000s run hot but i’m sitting at 47-53 while idle and 77-84 while under load. Are these normal temps for the ryzen 5 7600x? I have a noctua nh-u9s cooler. Clock speeds are about 4.80 while idle and anywhere from 5.20 to 5.40 while gaming (specifically cyberpunk)

Yup perfectly normal!

On a 360 AIO my 7950X3D idles at 50C and goes to 80C full load in Cinebench, and it's a cooler chip due to the 3D Cache that forces lower TJMax

Plus your cooler is a tiny one with 90mm fan, you could have some C less with a bigger one if it fits, but I suppose you have an small ITX case, it's the only reason to get a nh-u9s

to be honest i have a full sized case, but at the time i bought it i was rocking with a very crummy cpu so i didn’t need anything huge. i’ll probably upgrade eventually but for now im glad im not killing my system lol. thank you for your reply.
