3d printer for teaching labs.

Hey. 
I just a bit out of my element with 3d printing. I am looking to build a few custom parts for my class. I’m an electrician and we are building electrical motors and the parts they need. I would also love to build larger sized electrical components so they can see the inner workings. I’m looking to spend about $300-$500. Some of the parts I would love to build are 8x8 inch. Idk if that helps.
