Hi guys, In light of the new RGS corsair keyboards, i was contemplating "gifting" my logitech G710+ to my wife. Trouble (first world) is i have a g600s mouse too, and there is just no offering quite like it atm from corsair.

I only have experience with logitech software, which has been relatively painless when discounting the rare occasions it failed to detect installed games back during the windows 8 roll out. i really do love using just "one software to rule them all". but it looks like ill be getting the rgb k95 to mess up my streak of logitech products.

Do any of you have experience using two softwares consecutively?

Or if not, what are your thoughts about them individually? Razer synapses 2.0, Logitech Gaming Software, Corsair Gaming software, the list goes on.

While i am attracted by the leds, im more interested in the 18 G keys. so the rgb k95 ticks all my boxes.

There should not be any problems using multiple different softwares at the same time. If there were to be some problems, it would be when using two different softwares for one type of peripheral (for example, two mice). Buying products from a same manufacturer for pure branding reasons is just a good way to throw money away.

From my experience Corsair's software is just as good as Logitech's. Never had troubles with either.

Corsair's equivalent of Logitech G600 would be the M95.

TL;DR: Just get whichever keyboard and mouse you want, brand and software won't matter much in the end (biggest exception I can think of is Roccat's "Talk" feature which gives some fancy functions if you have both a mouse and keyboard from them).
