nothing sticks out to me that is bad

I would only change your sons CPU from a 5800xt to a 5700x3D since for gaming the 3D cache will prove useful, but that is a nit pick

I edit my posts for so if you saw a typo.... no you didn't, you are just crazy

No, but I wouldn't buy new AM4 parts unless they're really cheap.

Could maybe find cheaper MB, different CPU could be cheaper too possibly.

5800x or 5700x could be cheaper.

NV3 is bad value and there are cheaper NVMEs that are better.

RAM could potentially be found cheaper.

For ~140$+ you can jump to next platform:

https://pcpartpicker.com/list/fTfZPJ

With properly fast RAM and MB that can essentially handle any of the current existing AM5 Ryzen CPUs.

Check out Thermalright AIO, Thermalright and ARCTIC fans.

And reputable brand PSUs with ATX 3.0+ certification. Corsair, ADATA, Lian-Li, Thermaltake and MSI being usually the most affordable ones.

You could get a micro-ATX Gigabyte B850 board with PCI-E 5.0 for around 140 euro. Could then pair with something like a 7500F or 7600.

DDR5 would be more pricey, of course, but would have more future upgrades available.

would you suggest one from https://www.alternate.be/Hardware/Pc-componenten ? he is set on the white Theme. thats the reason he went with that board  from the AM4 platform. as he is getting my old NZXT case , aio, fans and such

That's tricky, maybe B650m Pro RS. 7500F is usually available in bundles, FYI.

Price is a lil high so 100% understandable but overclocking has nothing to do with anything

The 3D cache is just here and it helps, no overclocking or tingering needed

I edit my posts for so if you saw a typo.... no you didn't, you are just crazy

Brand mixing should be fine, at least with fans, they all use 4pin connectors anyway.

And you can just get all same fans on AIO and case fans. From Thermalright.

Thermalright Frozen Notte ARGB

Thermalright TL-C12CW-S X5 5-Pack
