Okay here is the deal, i have a 7950x and the X670E TUF, bought at launch so it is a bit older. but a nice kit..

Bought it with the Kingston fury 2x16GB C36 KIT i think it is.. worked perfectly, or YEAH worked, meaning the first few bios updates, the RAM was a bit iffy unstable in 6000mhz but fine in 5600mhz then next bios stable in 6000mhz but not in 5600mhz but at some point all elements were ironed out.. the kit is RANK 1..

Now i got 2x32GB for my birthday, Kingston Fury 2x32GB C30 Kit, (so tighter timings) and RANK 2 kit. so yes it is not one to one.... but it still baffles me, i were not sure that i would be able to like run 6000mhz, but i need the ram for a project, so 5600 or even 4800 should work.

Now here is my issue

popped in the 4 sticks .. of course paired correctly DIMM A2B2 kept the 32gb kit (A2/B2 is 2-4 from CPU side so what the manual says normally needs to be populated) and the 64gb in the other...

Got a LONG training session then it goes to CPU and just "stops".... so i thought the 64GB kit was DOA.. But now comes my trouble solving

Running 64GB kit in Dimm A2-B2 no issues, can run tight EXPO timings runs perfect MEMTEST86+ and no stability issues (32GB kit the same) how it looks is first DRAM, Then RED CPU, Green CPU then white LED

Running just the 32GB kit in A1-B1 NO boot, goes to CPU LED and just hangs...  at the RED CPU

Running the 64GB kit in A1-B1 same ... no BOOT

running 1 stick in A1 no boot 1 stick in B1 no boot... but also know that was against the manual, just wanted to check if i could see if one port was defective..

the bios intalled, and the newest bios, no change..

Tried to FORCED it into the BASE ram settings, then adding the modules..  No dice.

Now i am at a point, either i have a defective motherboard or the7950x has a defective memory controller or something on it. but it is just wierd i have ZERO Stability issues, it has always run 120watt, no it is not burned in the "scandal" with the "too much power pushed to it" ..

Or is this just an AMD 4 module thing, i saw many videos of people saying it was not "great" with 4 modules on the AMD platform, but they all like complained they had to run lower speeds, and i was fine with that..

The R2 modules however test a great deal faster than the R1

any ideas?
