Other details (existing parts lists, whether any peripherals are needed, what you're upgrading from, when you're going to buy, what resolution and refresh rate you want to play at, etc): I have all the computer components, this is about changing the form factor. 

 

I am considering changing from a typical desktop case to a rack mount system, potentially expanding it further with things such as a NAS and whatnot. I am currently trying to research the rack and case portion, and wondering what others have done for this kind of scenario? The kind Linus has is a bit much for my use, but I am thinking along those lines. Any ideas/assistance would be appreciated.
