Hello,

I currently have a 12600kf and a 4060 (I know I'm sorry). I am planning on getting a 5070, I am wondering if I will run into any major bottlenecks with my CPU. I play mostly minecraft and forntite (1080p), and do a lot of Blender and video editing on Davinci Resolve.

Thanks!

Nah, not enough to worry about 🙂

Would you get higher FPS with a better CPU?  Yes, but not enough to be worth it to upgrade.

If this isnt a machine you use to make money and you are fine with the speed + it does all you need it to do then just keep the gpu and upgrade the cpu

You can still benefit from better CPU at this resolution especially on frametime (smoothness) department, but that 12th gen Intel is already good enough to keep up. Focus on the GPU, update the CPU when you got the disposable income or when it eventually bottlenecks.
