Budget (including currency): £1500

Country: UK (Northern Ireland)

Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: Gaming, usually AAA at 1440p.

Other details (existing parts lists, whether any peripherals are needed, what you're upgrading from, when you're going to buy, what resolution and refresh rate you want to play at, etc):

* GPU: AMD Radeon RX 9070 XT (£679)

Or RTX 5070 (£559)
 * CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 7600X (£157)
 * MOBO: Gigabyte Eagle B650 AX (£139)
 * RAM: Corsair Vengeance DDR5 32GB (2x16GB) 6000MHz CL30 (£97)
 * PSU: MSI MAG A750GL ATX 3.0 (750W, 80+ Gold) (£84)
 * CASE: MSI MAG PANO 100R (£99)
 * CPU cooler: Thermalright Phantom Spirit 120 EVO (£42)
 * Storage: 1Tb Lexar EQ790 (£51)

 * Monitor: will decided later.

I can't decide which GPU should I choose. I'm going from RTX 3070 Laptop, so at 1440p monitor, 5070 should be good, but 9070XT has more Vram and better/or equal most of the time RT performance, for just £120 more, yet it has tricky FSR4 enabling process and not available in every game.

Any suggestions would be very welcome.

AMD bit faster and 16GB, 5070 cheaper.

Nice parts, could see if 7600/7500F is cheaper or available. Speedy RAM.

Cooler could be cheaper from same brand with similar dual tower design if you can find. Or ID-COOLING Frozn A620 if you can find that.

Well, you could look at the 9070 XT less often needing FSR 4 in the first place.
