ive tried using both dx 11 and 12 did a ddu rolled back drivers but to no luck its always random when the artifacting starts during cutscenes

That doesn't look right at all.

I have never seen artifacting like this before, if it is.

And I have seen a bunch of different artifacting over the 20 years I have been overclocking and messing with GPU's.

Do you ever experience random black triangles or squares, or pink - green artifacting?

no ive experienced  alot of black screens and crashes these days mainly with gpu hardware error codes and alot of these in event viewer Display driver nvlddmkm stopped responding and has successfully recovered idk if this info helps but  undervolting even mildly really upsets the vram making occt go crazy with like 300k errors on vram

Is this something that recently started happening?

Have this system worked fine before for a while?

I can see your system specs a little in the MSI Overlay but could you give me full specs please?
Be specific 🙂

Undervolting can definitely cause errors and issues, some cards just dont handle it well.

Can you try to reseat your GPU and GPU power cables as well?

the system worked fine a month ago now its getting tons of those black screens and error codes in event viewer

Strange.  Could be a faulty or dying GPU.  Its hard to diagnose without having it here to test.

What exact power supply?

Does it happen in all games or just the more GPU demanding ones?

occt i have dont countless hours on the core is fine no errors but vram once freaked out with a undervolt tried to recreate how it happend but i just couldnt even if i push the undervolt to -150mv the vram just had errors once

Could be PSU related.  That IG-Max is absolutely awful and should really only be used if you like house fires.

Even if its not the issue, get a new power supply immediately...

why its been running fine for almost 4 years now

Lucky, I wouldn't even use that power supply as a doorstopper.

Just now, bobsponge155 said:

but still it could be a psu issue not delivering enough power

Well, yes.  That being said, you do have very low powered components but the IG-Max says its 600w but I highly doubt that.

could u give me some information on how to test if its a faulty gpu   ill also look into a new power supply i didnt know it was that bad lol

If its not on the PSU Tierlist, there are no reviews and they don't even have website... HUGE red flag for a PSU. No No No.

Check for a MSI A550BN or A650BN if you want a reliable budget unit.

You could run some GPU benchmarks like Unigen Heaven to check for artifacting.

You have already done OCCT and this is a tough one to pass.

yea also probably lack of saftey features it is quite a cheap psu

Absolutely.   They might say they do but they most definitely do not...

Had a person in here 2 weeks ago only getting 50% power draw from his GPU...

Turns out he had a shit NOX power supply.. He swapped it out and got full power draw / usage out of his GPU.

The PSU just couldn't deliver the required wattage even though it was 'rated' for twice the wattage required for the system.

yea power draw here is fine this build is quite low power maybe 260watts max if it was something near 500 the ig max would for sure struggle

Thats really not how shit PSU's work at all.

It might just be able to do 180w from a single rail for example.  Everything in the specs is most likely false.

Yeah its actually just pure E-waste.  I dont like to be this brunt but sometimes I just have to say the truth straight.

I mean, damn.. I wouldn't even turn the PC on until I have swapped the PSU.

GPU issue or not.
