While I was moving out, I dropped my PC and the glass panel broke. Everything’s fine—just the glass—but since then, I’ve been wanting to do a black and white build. The thing is, I’ve been really tempted to swap out my AIO (Cooler Master MasterLiquid ML240L ARGB V1) for the Cougar Poseidon Elite ARGB 360 White. I do think it’s an upgrade, but the price is making me hesitate. Do you guys think it’s worth it? (Pc is turning 4 december this year, i spent 130 on the cooler master while the cougar is 110 brand new)

What processor do you have?

As long as your temps are okay, you could get different fans to put on your existing AIO. That would be less expensive. Just make sure they generate at least as much static pressure (blow as hard) as the fans that came with it, and cooling capacity shouldn't be affected.

I sold my soul for ProSupport.

how old is your aio, and how much of an decrease in temps would a new one result in?

It depends on the CPU you are running.

MY PC:

Ryzen 9 3900X 12 Core PBO Enabled

ASUS RTX 4070 DUAL OC

Asus Prime x570 Pro Motherboard

Kingston Fury Beast 128GB RAM 4 Slots

Fractal Design Case

EVGA 80+ Gold 800W PSU

Got a ryzen 5, my AIO is turning 4 in december. The cougar one is a 360mm AIO (my current one is a 240mm) that comes with 3 fans rated at 2200 RPM (+/-10%), compared to my current fans which are 2000 RPM (+/-10%).

I'm not really sure how to compare temps between them, so I’m wondering if this would actually be an upgrade. I'm also switching to a white build, and honestly, my current AIO is nearing the end of its lifespan (even though I think it could last another 2–3 years max).

PD: gotta love gpt redaction xD
