wind ow 11 24H2 Issues.

Hi~

 

Just gave up and installed 24H2 and immediately encountered some problems. Anyone know a fix for these two?

 

*Desktop icons are all gone.

-restart PC.

-restart explorer.

-Right click>view>show desktop icons.
-personalize>themes>desktop icons settings.

*N0va desktop is running, but live wallpaper is not showing up.

-Version: 2.2.1.3(ae0baa3baf)

-reinstall.

-Tested both live and static.

-Tested alternative(Lively wallpaper from Microsoft store) - wallpaper is flashing instead.

-Any alternative if this is not fixable?

First try  DDU and reinstall gpu drivers? You can also try updating motherboard chipset drivers too (should not matter if only Win10 drives are listed).

No change using the new and few months old drivers. 

 

Rollback the update and everything works fine now.

Looks like a known problem. Apps are all updated.
