Hello,

I have an issue with my peripherals (mouse and keyboard only) they randomly disconnect for 1 second most of the time, sometimes for 3-5 (rarely) but without the windows notification sound. This happens mostly while gaming but can also happen while just browsing. The wierd thing is that the disconnect is mostly like a reset, I use the backlighting at max the disconnect resets it and I need to repres the key if I’m holding it. Happens only and on all wireless devices, same deal with the mouse. Third wireless mouse I bought is doing the same thing, wired devices have no issue and neither my wireless headset.. is driving me nuts. You might think I’m just unlucky and all products are defective but I tested in bios, no disconnects.

BIOS up to date: motherboard z690 X DDR4. F30 version

Device management: Allow the computer to turn offthis device to save power: disabled for everything.

All drivers/win updates up to date

Power supply 850 Gold+ Gigabyte (third power supply… not even joking had a 550 seasonic before swapped to a 650 corsair)

Cpu: 13600kf

Gpu: 4070ti

ssd m.2: 1 Tb Samsung 980 / 1Tb WD Green Sn3000

2x16GB Corsair 3000mhz cl15

You said that the peripherals are wireless, but how? Bluetooth? Do they have a wireless USB adapter? Have you tried plugging in only those things and playing around to see if it only has issues with a specific port?

Sorry lots to ask.. haha

Fair questions my bad, sorry.

2.4Ghz for mouse steelseries aerox 5 and the keyboard is a Logitech mx mechanical bolt receiver thingy not sure if its 2.4.

Have not tried Bluetooth as the MB is not capable and I don't have a dongle..

Tried different usb ports 2x3.2 2x3.0 2x2.0 front IO 3.0 for keyboard, mouse dongle is USB type C so only 1 in the back and the one in the front IO

You're good! I would be almost curious to see if these being plugged into a different system changes anything.. Perhaps even uninstalling the devices Driver software, there might be some glitch there. If you have a laptop, it might be worth seeing if it has issues all around or just on the one PC.. (maybe try to see if bluetooth could be an option.)

On a side note, are there many other devices being plugged into the back of the MB? It might be worth unplugging anything necessary to see if the issue is there.

I will go ahead and check on a different system/laptop also with nothing else but ethernet, 1 monitor and these 2(keyb and mouse) , I will follow up as soon as possible.

If you have any other ideas in the meantime please let me know, willing to try anything at this point...

PS: reinstalled windows twice in the last week (Win10, please don't make me use W11 :))
