Hello I have a issue with my computer. I'm running windows 11 pro I have 3070ti gigabyte aurora elite non wi fi amd 5950x and my issue is i can't get it to play youtube videos anymore not on chrome or on edge it was working fine 2 days ago i uninstalled any programs that may have been installed during that time i've reset my router.I've reset my modem. But still dose them same but it not just youtube videos videos online period i can't even watch my plex server videos on that computer. When I wasn't having an issue days ago i'm considering reinstalling windows as a new install but rather not if I don't have too i've cleared catch cookies browsing history everything

I've not tried the windows videos player but yes I can not watch videos on any website I had installed da vinci resolved so and installed a thinking that could cause a problem

I didn't even think of that but from what I can see is that the wont work for any site like Netflix or even Amazon prime in thing maybe some files maybe the video drives may be bad or something I found someone on Microsoft forums have the same issue but with windows 10 not 11 Suddenly, no video will play on Windows 10 PC, YouTube in any browser, - Microsoft Community here a link i'm try the steps they suggested later today and hope it works

yeah, even the videos saved on my desktop don't work

This seems more likely a driver issue.

1.

uninstall/reinstall video drivers

 

if that doesnt work then if you can

run a linux os in live mode and test a youtube video and see if it works

The vedio driver is that a the gpu driver im uninstall and reinstall or is that a deffrent driver

Same thing. Video or GPU drivers are often used in the same context.

Try booting from an Ubuntu live USB stick and open a browser. You should be able to play a video on youtube.

i got it working turns out it was the Elgato 4k app after i uninstalled and reinstalled it everything it worked tahnks
