Hey there. When I go to plug in another USB device on my new pc (NZXT prebuilt), it either doesn’t work, or something else doesn’t work.

I’m going to add all my specs, then the peripherals I use…

H Series H9 Elite Edition ATX Mid Tower Chassis

MSI Z790 GAMING PLUS WIFI (DDR5)

Intel i9-14900KF Tray

Team T-Force Delta RGB 64GB (2x32GB) DDR5 6000

(FF3D516G6000HC38ABKT)

WD Blue SN580 1TB NVMe SSD (WDS10013B0E) x2

Gigabyte RTX 4090 Windforce V2 24G (GV-N4090WF3V2-24GD)

Kraken Elite 360 - 360mm Alo liquid cooler w/ Display and Radiator Fans

(Black)

C Series ATX 1000 Watt 80 Plus Gold Version 1 Analog Full-modular

Power Supply, US Power Cord

9. WIN 11 HOME ADVANCED OLC 0A3 (KUK-00003)

Here are the USB peripherals I use.

1st gen Elgato Stream deck

Elgato Stream Deck Pedala

Elgato Wave XLR

HyperX Full size keyboard

Logitech G PRO Superlight. (newest model)

Logitech Brio 410

Logitech PRO X2 LIGHTSPEED

It seems like I can only have 5-6 running at a time. Any thoughts on what I can do to solve this issue? I have updated all drivers already.

Is it a particular port failing each time? Are you adding to the rear IO or the front, and which fails?

Not a specific port. It’s just the rear io with a warning that I have maxed out system resources. Any help is greatly appreciated!

USB ports have a maximum power output and maybe you are exceeding that limit somehow. But it is probably Windows tripping instead of a real hardware limitation.

Do you have a USB hub you can use ? Try using the hub to plug many devices into the same port. Still getting the issue ? If you have a powered hub, if you plug the power adapter, does it make a difference ?

Hope that helps.
