Hello guys. I'm confused and I can't get clear. I want to replace bottom cover and I started to look ebay for items. I found some of them with ribbon. What is this? Dell Precision 5550 bottom cover. Look photo.

it either looks like a charging port or possibly a chassis intrusion system. something that needs more than 2 contacts though since it looks like there's 6 total.

Ok I found answer. It is 3.5mm jack connector/flex.

Glad you discovered this is the 3.5mm audio jack! You can find out about parts in that laptop by reading the Service Manual.
