I recently upgraded my GPU and PSU.  After installing and rewiring everything the system won't boot. Fans spin briefly and the motherboard has lights on. The system will not boot.  I have removed the GPU and checked the cables for the CPU. I've reinstalled the ram and currently trying to start it without the GPU.  Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

The current specs.

I7 10700k

Asus z490 prime

32 gb ddr4

Rtx 5070ti

1000w Corsair psu

double check the wiring and if you have your old gpu try using it and see if you get a display.

If the new power supply is modular, did you reuse the cables from the old one?

I've seen power supplies do that when they're protecting themselves from a short circuit.

The old power supply was semi modular and the new one is fully modular. All the cables were replaced.
