Hello,

I would like to ask if anyone here could give me their opinion about best possible GPU upgrade from this prebuilt I already had for a few years now (https://support.hp.com/cz-cs/product/details/omen-25l-desktop-pc-gt12-1000i/model/2100816088?serialnumber=8CG1521NQB&sku=5B296EA).

I don't know how to calculate the highest GPU this prebuilt can handle changing from the prebuilt's 3060ti without changing the PSU with it.

CPU: Ryzen 7800X3D; CPU Cooler: Noctua U12A chromax + NA-HC8 chromax; MOBO: Gigabyte B850M Aorus Elite Wifi6e; CASE: A3-Matx Lian Li Dan Case Wood/Mesh edition; PSU: SF1000 (2024); RAM: 2x16 GB DDR5 Kingston Fury Beast 6000/30cl Expo kit; SSD#1: 1 TB 9100 PRO; SSD#2: 2TB 990 PRO; GPU: RTX 5080 Asus x Noctua; Case fans: 1x A12x25 G1, 2x A14x25 G2 chromax; OS: Win 11 Pro

This Prebuilt has a 500w Bronze PSU.  I wouldn't really put much more than a 250w GPU in this build ( The 3060 Ti is 200w )

Not because of wattage but I don't know the proper specs of this PSU.

What type of connectors do the PSU have?

If this PreBuilt use normal components instead of proprietary nonsense you can swap out the PSU with a MSI A650BN ( Cheap, reliable, safe ) PSU and put a faster GPU in this build 🙂

There are 2 GPUs that I know of that have Maximum Wattage of 200. That way you would not need to worry about them needing more power and your PSU not being able to supply it.

Intel ARC B580

Nvidia GeForce RTX 4070

I would recomend looking at the performance for each to see if it what you hoping to get from a new GPU. If not I would wait to see what the 5060ti has to offer performance wise since it will be 170 watt card. Plus there might be a chance for more AMD cards in 9000 series that could be up your ally.
