Upgraded CPU system not booting.

As the title mention I upgraded my cpu from a Ryzen 7 3700x to a Ryzen 9 5950x.

I updated the Bios made sure everything was on default settings. But when I install the new CPU the led implies that I have an issue with the ram so the pc doesn’t boot up and just stays stuck on the ram. The issue is that when I put my old cpu the Desktop runs perfectly fine. 
 

i’ve done everything, cmos reset, 1stick ram boot up, check the bios again if the version was compatible, left it on for a while hoping it would fix it itself. I don’t know what to do, could the cpu be faulty? The new cpu is brand new.

Out of 6 AM4 cpus I had, I had 1 DoA and one die within 20 days. The one died later on also would be stuck on RAM initialization. I would just send it back.

Yeah I contacted customer service but still waiting for like an hour.

Please help! 

Make sure the EPS cable (CPU Power, Top left corner of Mobo) is fully plugged in. Make sure ram is fully seated. If those two things check out and your old CPU works then it is probably DOA and you should get a refund/exchange
