GPU is not flush with case

The backplate is not flush with the bracket at the back of the case, which is odd. I removed the screws and raised it as much as I could, but it still isn’t flush. Is there any chance that I didn’t install the card correctly? It lines up with the holes and the IO of the card fits just fine.

Sometimes the tabs on the io shield do not line up with the small slots on the case, they could be a little bent too.

Thanks! Could I even insert the card into the slot if those tabs don’t line up? The card seems to work fine.
