Rooting your phone seems a to be a must for most tech people

However is it realy worth it?

I mean yes they are apps and other things that cant be used otherwise but you avoid your warranty and also you dont have updates from google.. not to mention you may brick your phone...

Rooting is really troubling me. I had flashed my old wave 2 and later couldnt find the original os so i was stuck to some crappy versions

with my moto g this shouldnt be a problem but i am still very hesitant about it

Let me hear your thoughts and advices

I suggest one reading my guide in my sig., 2, consider if you really care or not about it. I personally do because I can do tons with it, but to you, it's up the individual if the risks outweighs the benefits, for me, I could care less about a warranty more so than getting a really slim and least bloated OS. You are running a moto G which is pretty close to stock, so you might not have that big of a difference in the long run.

I had 3 rooted phones and I feel its worthless really. There are warranty issues and other stuff that can harm ur device.I would never root again and always suggest not to coz there is not much u gain from it.

If he had a Samsung with Touchwiz I would say root but Moto G is indeed not necessary to root, it's almost stock...

It is not really worth it, unless you dislike the skin of the phone, but then again, launchers are they for a reason. So it is not worth it, the only reason why I rooted was to get a stock like experience and for the feature of the camera in the notification bar
