Multi purpose PC build

Go to solution Solved by Why_Me,

I stuck a RTX 4070 Ti Super 16GB in this build but the card you want is the new RTX 5070 Ti 16GB. Those cards should start showing up in better quantity within the next month. Add desired storage.

Budget (4000 - 4100 AUD):

Country: AUSTRALIA

Expected use: machine leaning training, python, pyhtorch CNN models and such, 3d design, Solidworks, 4k video editing Davinchi resolve, gaming-sim racing with vr or 1440p Ultra wide 160hz.

Peripherals: 1440p Ultra wide and 1080p monitors, Sim racing and expected vr for Sim racing

Other details: coming from a Intel 11370h GTX 1650 laptop with 32 gigs of ram and 1.5 terabytes of storage (which is almost full), 1tb gen 4 nvme drive will be games drive in new build(using less than half for games). I'd the build to look nice because it will be on my desk next to me, because of this it should also be quiet under load. The 1tb nvme will be boot drive and the hard drive stroage for footage, I currently have 1.2 tb of footage. Any help for slight tweaks to complete redo is welcome.

I would wait to see the reveal of the 9070 and 9070 xt for specs and price

What's your reasoning for going Intel?

For 3D design I'd pay the Nvidia tax if my budget allowed.

is it really worth the cost though, all Nvidia is now is AI they even said at CES there 50 series wouldn't be possible without AI

Would 7900xtx be a good option it's pricing is in low 4070 ti super range

if the 7900 xtx has better specs then the 9070/ 9070 xt then manly yes, but if the 9070 xt is just barely outperformed by the 7900 xtx and cheaper I would go with the 9070 xt so you have more money for other parts of your pc
