Hello, ive recently upgraded my pcs cpu, gpu, and psu. Everything runs fine however the pc makings a loud buzzing sound for a few seconds, then fades and comes back repeatedly, the sound stops if i put my hand or finger on the top of the pc where the cpu coolers radiator is installed which has led me to believe it may be an issue with something getting caught on one of its fans, however ive taken out and put the fans back in and the sound persists. I do not know what is causing this, if anyone could help it would be greatly appreciated

If you are able to suppress the noise by touching the chassis it's either a fan or a part of the chassis vibrating against something because of a fan.

There's usually no easy fix here when you've already taken it apart put it back together and it still does the same thing.

I would question if it's a bad fan. If this is a 2 fan rad I'd unplug the radiator fan while it's powered on and see if it immediately stops. The fan bearing itself in one of the fans may be bad.

The easy solution for vibrating parts is to use some tape, rubber or foam to stop the vibrations. Please don't try this with fans for obvious reasons.

I've been here and done stuff like this with fans but first we have to identify if that's the problem.

Sure, fan mounts are ok to tape but keep far away from fan blades for that could worsen the noise and vibration or burn a motor.

Most PC fans don't pull enough current to burn out. You could stall them outright but until you get into high performance ones that really whirl the coil won't get hot enough to burn out. Not enough amps flowing through the wire. Most only run 250~500mA because they're supposed to be quiet.
