So I have started a new project with a Supermicro 2U case

The case came with redundant 700W PSU, with 1x 24-pin, 2x 8-pin 1x 4-pin and 3x3 molex

I am planning in the future to have 12 hdds, but will start with 6. With 2x 2.5 ssds as boot drives.

I was wondering if there are any adapters for sata power from maybe 8-pin or 4-pin. I know there is from molex, but have also read that it could be bad.

Also will these 2 700w psus be enough for

Mobo Supermicro x10srh-cln4f

CPU Xeon e5-2650 v4

RAM 64 gb ecc

2x m2 ssd as cache

2x 2.5 ssd as boot

12x 3.5 hdd as storage

3x 80mm noctua fans

I will be running unraid as nas and plex primarily, probably some other programs

Anything else I should reconsider?

MAX power draw of an HDD is 15W. You should be fine for power.
There are adapters from anything with a 12V pin and molex is only iffy because the connectors can be a bit loose. You should be fine splitting off of one.
