I have a Logitech G810 and it's starting to break down. I've had issues with some RGB lights failing but it didn't really bother me enough to have it RMA'd. Then after warranty support ended I started getting really bad chatter, and a year later some keys stopped working unless I tap them really hard.

This is the first Logitech product that disappointed me. I also have a Redragon Kala which I bough as a returned product for quite cheap, I initially stopped using it because of the chatter issues and the noisy keys. Since then I found some software to help with the chatter and I use noise cancelling now so the noise isn't a problem anymore.

I'm wondering whether I should stick with it until it fails or to get something new now.

As for the budget, while I could splurge and pay €200 for a keyboard, given the disappointment I felt having all these issues with Logitech I'd like to stick to something below €100 if possible.

Location-wise, I live in Romania, but I'm not asking for exact links to ship here for my budget, I'm mostly trying to get an idea of what I should get.

What I'm looking for in a keyboard:

- Full keyboard with numpad, no missing keys, it'd be nice if it had the right side win key as well but that's one key I'm willing to accept losing

- Mechanical (I'm open to whatever switch as long as people recommend it for FPS games)

- US Layout

- Backlit (I don't care about RGB or individually addressed key RGB, but at least some sort of backlight is welcome)

- It should NOT have macro keys to the left of the keyboard

- Wired preferred

Nice to have:

- Dedicated media controls

- USB passthrough

- Configurable from Linux (it doesn't have to be 1st party software)

Thank you

Just to be clear, you are in Romania right? I checked your profile. It is courtesy to state your country when asking purchasing questions because it saves us a lot of time so that we don't make incompatible suggestions.

Romania is available on the German subsite for Keychron.

https://keychron.de/pages/shipping-policy/

Keychron K10 Max

https://keychron.de/products/keychron-k10-max-qmk-wireless-mechanical-keyboard

You can also buy from Amazon
https://www.amazon.de/-/en/Keychron-Mechanical-Bluetooth-Backlight-Compatible/dp/B0DQPD4MMX/

For dedicated media controls, Keychron boards use QMK/VIA which is a web browser interface for editing key functionality on their keyboards.  You can edit those 4 keys above the NumPad to do anything you want if you're unhappy with the default options on the F-keys.

Red Switches are Linear and they are essentially the default recommendation for gamers.

I am indeed from Romania, sorry about that, I should've mentioned.

I had never considered keychron before but I see lots of recommendations for it. Thanks for the insight.

There's one more requirement I forgot to add in my initial list and that is the layout, I'm looking for US layout (I'll edit my original post). The one on the keychron website seems to be US, the amazon one seems to be DE but I also found US layout one for a little bit more.
