definitely a lot of options. appreciate the feedback i could probably go a little less on the 3d modeling as I'm just getting into it and I don't really need to render any parts i mainly use fusion 360 and for gamming its a lot of steam games nothing to graphicly heavy. i guess my main concern is building something that i couldn't upgrade in a couple years if i need to.

Likely then you can get an AMD gpu

Fusion 360 isnt too reliant on GPUs for anything other than viewing or some rendering and even then the CPU does the heavy lifting more often than not as it isnt GPU accelerated

Smt a little more like this would also be good and better for gaming as well since that seems to be your main focus

Budget (including currency): 1900

Country: usa

Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: light to moderate gaming, 3d modeling and upgradeable

Other details (existing parts lists, whether any peripherals are needed, what you're upgrading from, when you're going to buy, what resolution and refresh rate you want to play at, etc): already have a display keyboard and mouse

CPU Ryzen 9 7900x 12 core 24 threads

GPU PNY nvidia GenForce RTX 4060 8gb

SSD wd-black sn770 2 tb

CPU Cooler Corsair nautilus 240 argb liquid cpu cooler

RAM corsair vengance rgb 32gb ddr56400mhz

Motherboard asus rog strix b650-a am5 socket wifi6E

PWR corsair cx-m series 750m semi modular

OS Windows 11

this would be my first computer build just looking for some advice if this would be a decent build or there is some better choices definitely appreciate any help and guidance

Smidge over your budget by less than 5 bucks without the OS

If you want the OS you are going a lil over 2k unless you get a 4070 rather than the super

If it wasnt for the 3D modeling AMD would be better but eh

If you want the OS with a bought license then you are stuck with a 4070 not Super so I spend  smidge more on an AIO a better case with  seperate fans fans and an extra m.2

I edit my posts for so if you saw a typo.... no you didn't, you are just crazy

Did I?! Well yes and I felt that too

I live in a country where stores will try to sell a 4080 NOT SUPER for nearly 5k with NO reprecausions, a b580 for nearly 500 and 7900gre for more than a 7900xt by about 50 bucks and or more

(+ some more *human waste* stuff you wont believe like an msi PSU starting from the same price or more than a be quiet 12)

Scalping is smt I feel everytime I view parts for my build or the builds I help other users make and I a) pop a blood vessel or b) feel sick to my stomach from it or c) both

Realistically, morally and every other way you wanna put it the 2nd option from the 2 I suggested is a MUCH more well balanced and viable build for its money and I cant even deny it and highly advise OP goes with that but I used the 4070s IF they feel that the 3D is so important they want the most in that cause the extra cuda cores and RT capability can be helpful

Really times are sad for productivity PC building, there's no NVidia new cards except at x2 price, and not many AMD cards, and they don't work well in productivity apps 😞

Maybe best route is to get an used 3080 or such

Pretty viable route tbh especially since high end 30 series is still good or a used 4080 if there is a great deal at 900ish bucks but that is unlikely
