Air cooler compatibility

Hi

Anyone tried mounting Deepcool AK620 on Asus Z590-E?

 

The outer RAM will be removed, so ram clearance should be ok, just worried about VRM and Pcie.

 

The cpu is 11700k so AK620 should be fine if no oc?

(TUF, Strix, Prime, etc.)

Shouldn't be an issue.  The AK620 is actually quite a small cooler.

Absolutely no clearance issues with my ASUS TUF B650 PLUS WIFI and this one has quite tall VRM heatsinks as well.

From my understanding the Asus Z590-E is only a ROG STRIX product.

Prime would be Asus Z590-A or Asus Z590-P for example.

More than enough. And in terms of clearance it should also be fine over pcie.
