gpu: gigabyte r9 290

ram: 2x8 corsair vengance 1600

psu: corsair semi modular 750w 80 plus gold

cpu: fx 8350

ssd: samsung evo 120gb ssd 

hdd: wd 1tb blue

optical drive: lite on dvd drive

im probs gonna get this build but wanna know if any problems with it

I'd swap the wd 1tb blue out for a seagate barracuda (although very minimal difference) grab a $20 asus optical drive and maybe a better cause and maybe a fully modular PSU, but yeah it is a nice build. Have a specific budget you want to hit?

 

Some people won't like that the psu is 750w but I personally like leaving plenty of room for upgrades.

i thought you could overclock with any amd motherboard

you can but you would get better over clocks with a 990fx board

im not planning on any high overclocks for im not aloud to upgrade my pc or get a new one till i move out but how high of a overclock do you think i can get

likely a few more ghz but you would still have more capabilities with the 990fx board
