Posted June 1, 2014 I am planning on getting the ASUS poseidon GTX 780 and the MAXIMUS VI FORMULA. Both of these can be water cooled, I was just wondering wether I would still be able to have air cooling around the water cooling, or could that possibly cause condensation? Condensation is when the liquid is colder than the ambient temperature, and in watercooling, you're using fans to blow through the radiators. The fans use ambient air, so it's not going to be able to make the water colder than the outside temperature. You don't have to worry about condensation. I like the color scheme of Noctua fans. Deal with it. Forget about the bad memories of the past. Posted June 1, 2014 Author Also if I had a water cooling reservoir, would the tubing go from that through the motherboard and graphics card, or is a water cooling reservoir for cooling other parts? Alright, this is how watercooling works. I'll try to explain it the best I can. First, the reservoir is only for storing water and let air bubbles escape. The water from the reservoir goes into the pump, where it pumps water through waterblocks. radiators, and whatnot. There, the water flows through each component and then it goes through radiators which cool down the water and then it returns back into the reservoir, continuing its journey. I recommend all beginner watercoolers to check out these threads. http://linustechtips.com/main/topic/1755-water-cooling-101-a-good-place-for-newbies-to-start/ http://linustechtips.com/main/topic/5435-watercooling-faq-some-basic-qa/ I like the color scheme of Noctua fans.
