Cheat Engine - Mac - Rosetta 2 - debugger won't install

When using cheat engine on my Apple Silicon Mac, and selecting a Rosetta 2 application, it says that the debugger needs to be attached, which I then click "yes" to, and then nothing more happens, no progress bar or anything.

 

Anybody who've experienced this too or have a solution?

 

I'm trying to play old flash games at higher speed using the speedhack feature, playing the flash games In the Y8 browser software, which I select from the applications list, but when I click to enable the speedhack feature, this error shows up:
