Hey everyone.
European over here.
I am looking to make my office a home theater as well.
From the couch while NOT reclined - from eye level - where the TV would be it's 3.32 meters (10.89 feet).

From the couch while reciled - from eye level - where the TV would be it's 3.53 meters (11.58 feet).

With that in mind, what TV size to distance calculator do you mention? I swear Linus recommended one, but I cannot find the video.

Furthermore, what TV do you recommend? and sound system?
My budget is a bit more high end - going for quality.

My scope for this would be to watch movies and series but as well hit some games on the ps5.

Budget? Like actual monetary units? + Country of course.

 

As for that distance a 55-65 inch does nicely can of course go bigger but well it has to fit.

 

Budget include some extra speakers too?

I would be comfortable giving around 3000 euros for the TV and not sure about the sound system. Never been a sound system kinda of person, but I want to get into that.


I have been using this website and it recommends a 75" - 90"

So with that in mind, i am looking right now at an OLED SAMSUNG 83S90D, 209cm (82 inches) for 2400 euros.
