Hey guys,🖐️

First time posting so if this is wrong place deal with the post as necessary.

I am about to build a new PC once the 5070ti and 9950x3d drops. One of the uses I wish to get out of my PC is to basically host either a Para virtualisation or some form of VM to allow myself and my partner to utilise my PC's components with either her low budget work laptop or a second set of peripherals and monitor to play video games together.

I'm asking those who have attempted this;

-What is the best approach for this?

-How well does a client either in a VM or Para-virt perform when components are split 50/50 is the performance 50/50

-Will the host and client still be able to utilise Nvidias GPU tech eg;

    -DLSS

     - Frame Gen

Etc.

-What are the key host and client limitations?

Cheers 👍

Ah shoot. Does the 3000 series still support it?

There are Ampere cards that support it, yes. Like the RTX A5000. Supermicro sells workstations where you can add in one of these cards, and while it depends on your card you can expect to pay something like $15k.
