I've got a 5600X cooled by a NZXT X53. It's been solid since I got it. Although now all of a sudden even under no load my idle is 70 degrees C. Pump speed is max but temps still high. Because of this the fans are full bore and loud. If I set them to silent the temp barely changes... Coolant temp is normal though... Any suggestions or reasons for this? Is the AIO dying? Paste gone bad? I'ts not that old since I repasted it within the last year I'm sure.

Did it used to be less than 70°C?

70°C is still Antarctica territory for Ryzen.

Yeah idle used to be mid 40s... I've reverted BIOS to optimised settings only reapplying my RAM settings and now I'm idling just above 50... Just can't tell if it's the AIO not performing as it should.
