I need help please. I do a lot of blueprint reading for job estimates so using a bigger screen like a tv helps but I'm constantly switching the hdmi cord from my monitor to tv depending on what I'm doing. I am looking for a hdmi output selector but in seems like all of them do the opposite by taking multiple inputs to a single monitor. Is there a device out there that does what I am asking for. Thank you.

Why not keep them both plugged in and just use software to choose which display you have enabled?

This seems to be what you're looking for. It can be either 1x2 or 2x1.
