So pc bluescreened while gaming. After it was just booting to bios. Bios recognize all connected ssds, but cant boot to windows. When i try to reinstall windows i cant delete partitions and says drive is only in read mode. Here comes funny part. i restored bios to default. If i connect known working ssd with windows installed it does same, i cant boot. Any ideas?

Later ill check if
bios update will resolve it
check csm

disable secure boot

if it wont work then i suspect dead motherboard otherwise my sdd would work.

Thanks.

When you install Windows, it doesn't put the boot partition on the drive you install Windows to. It puts the boot partition on whichever the drive the motherboard assigns as Disk 0 regardless of where Windows is installed. Are you sure that this SSD has the EFI partition? image.png.02da033b8103532f0536d1a86d72fcd8.png

When i removed original ssd, known working ssd booted so i quess yey. Later i tried broken ssd in other pc and this is result. Can someone tell me what 01 and 03 code means?

Also i should mention that this is not my pc (owner didnt know about this firmware update), i just trying to fix it. I noticed that this is ˝broken firmware˝ for 980 pros. i will try to recover it with samsung magicion but probably it wont let it because of only-read state.
